Buffi (b. Buffi Anderson) is a legendary Rock artist. Since 2002, she has released six studio albums, including the best-selling album of all time, Pill Queen.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Buffi Anderson was born into a working class family in Detroit. Growing up in Detroit was tough for Buffi. Being the black sheep of the family she rebelled against school and her parents. Although, to be fair, her parents also rebelled against her. Her mother & father pushed Buffi out of the family circle because they couldn't accept that their daughter wanted to "waste her life" on music and partying. They gave all their love to her brothers while Buffi had to turn to friends for support.

Buffi dropped out of high school and ran away to LA to pursue a music career, leaving behind a family she has vowed never to speak to again. Things didn't quite work out to plan. Buffi spent years working as a waitress and living in a trailer park while spending her spare time busking for spare change on the streets. But Buffi soon got a job doing what she loved best, singing.

Buffi was spotted singing on the street by club owner Eddie McEvans. Eddie owned a live music club and he needed someone to fill his tuesday night slot, disco night. Buffi refused at first but being strapped for cash she swallowed her pride was forced to take the job. Buffi's life was not how she planned it and it was making her bitter. Buffi soon turned to drugs for comfort and was a regular user of cocaine. She continued to sing at the club for two years until one night turned into work so high from drugs that she couldn't perform. Eddie fired her on the spot. However, years later when Buffi's first album took off he tried to release a album of Buffi's live disco performances. Buffi took him to court and he lost the case. The album was never released.

Broke with no job, Buffi was close to breaking point. After one failed suicide attempt, Buffi decided to get her life back on track. She took up a job at a small independent record store and met some new friends. With her new friends she formed a band called "Trailer Park Trash" and went gigging around small bars in America for three years. Realising the band was going no where they split, however Buffi and fellow band mate Tony Collins formed a romantic relationship. The pair married but it was not to last.

Like Buffi, Tony was heavy into the drugs and they would make him violent. Still bitter from his failed music career he would take out his insecurities on Buffi using his fists and various pieces of furniture. One time he beat Buffi so bad that she ended up in hospital with 7 broken ribs and she had to have her nose completely reconstructed. After 5 years of marriage and hell, Buffi was free of Tony. After the fight that put Buffi is hospital, Tony was arrested and sentenced to 4 years in jail, however due to the lack of drugs he couldn't cope and he killed himself after 5 months inside.

Buffi got herself off the drugs and decided to make a go at her life. With the help of some friends Buffi made a demo and started sending it around record company's. After several rejections Buffi's music career looked like it was going come to a stop. But after sending her last demo tape to a UK based company, Ghettoland, Buffi got signed.

Drugs[edit | edit source]

Buffi has been a slave to drugs on and off her whole life. Before being signed, she had been sober for two years. However as soon as her dream came true the drugs raced back into her life. She became a keen taker of Ketamine, Crystal Meth, Heroin as well as old faithful, Cocaine. Buffi took drugs so much that they actually became a second nature to her and pretty soon she actually worked better while she was on them. But after poor sales of her second album Rock Star, Buffi was ordered into rehab by her record company. Buffi went with no questions asked but left Ghettoland after she returned. It wasn't long before she was under a new record company Ex.com and back on drugs again. She got to the point where she was taking drugs more than she was actually working and this affecting her promotion for Dead To The World and The Difficult Kind. She had a further two stints in rehab up they didn't work either. Buffi is still a avid drugs user but has a much better hold of her life now than ever.

Writing[edit | edit source]

Ever since her second album Buffi has written all of her work and very rarely does covers. As well as that she has also written for other artists. She got Andrea Twain #01 with 'Get Over It' and has recently seen Alesha take the top spot with 'Fashion Kills'. The poster boy for masturbation Jack Stevens is set to release a Buffi penned track in march, 'Electropop Discosound'. Buffi also played mentor for Taylor Brookes and Kati, penning several tracks for both of them. Other artists who released Buffi's songs include Damned, Faith and Tiara Coles.

Rivals[edit | edit source]

Buffi can't seem to walk into a room without arguing with somebody, this has been a curse that has followed her throught her life. When she first burst on to the music scene she immediately fell out with homosexual rights activists ex.one. The group didn't like Buffi's cocky attitude and actually tried to warn Amaliyah Haughtly off working with Buffi on the track Strong Enough. Buffi contronted the group and in the end they made up. Buffi actually signed to their record company ex.com in 2004.

Buffi's attention then fell on to two unsuspecting newcomers Hannah Alethia and Alicia. Buffi took a instant dislike to these girls and made it her goal to run them out of the music business. Many people egged Buffi on as she made these two girls life a misery, stalking their every move and spat abuse at them. It was around this time Buffi's sales dropped and in the end she ended up taking time off, causing this little fued to fizzle out and be forgotton.

After this Buffi fell out with Andrea Twain, someone she had considered a friend in the past. It all came to head when Andrea claimed that Buffi cheated her way to winning a Urapopstar Award. Buffi took this as an insult and vowed to hate Andrea forever. However she didn't have to keep that hate up for long because Andrea was killed in a terrorist attack. Good.

Her longest standing feud is with scat-master and semi popular singer Emma Brown. It's not actually known how and when these two fell out but it's a feud that has lasted for years. The pair have taken snipes at each other much to the boredom of the rest of the world. While Buffi would ungracefully call Emma Brown a cunt live on TV, Emma Brown would take the high road and keep a dignified silence. This got the public on Emma's side for a while. However Emma made some wrong choices with her career and is now collecting job seekers allowance. Buffi is relishing in all of this and never hesitates to rub Emma's nose in it. Buffi still to this day claims Emma Brown is the most revolting person she has ever met.

It's not just enemies that face Buffi's wrath, it's her friends too. Buffi and Miss Drips have both clashed more than once when releasing against each other. The pair locked horns in a public displays in a bid to convince to buy their singles instead of the others and Buffi always loses. Buffi has also had chart battles with GirlASKBoy and Neyssa, losing to them as well.

In 2007 she had her most fierce chart battle when she duetted with Emblaze. The pair went up against a host of other duets in the 2007 Tango Challenge. Their biggest competition was Russ Hooch & Delta Nu. The rivalry became so heated that Buffi and Emblaze were arrested after happy slapping Russ Hooch, battering his new born child and kidnapping his wife Tracy with an E. The bad press worked against them, Russ Hooch & Delta Nu got #01 while Buffi & Emblaze had to settle for #07.

Buffi is currently disliking Lemon Cosmos and thinks Twist are absolute bastards.
