The Case Closed Era[edit | edit source]

Justin hit the scene in March 2004 with his debut single, which featured Britney Aguilera, a huge selling superstar. Justin Case was signed to one of Uraps biggest record companies, Baa Inc. The single, "Ain't Got A Clue", was huge everywhere. The song took the pop world by storm. The song only managed to stall in at #18 in the charts and Justin's future singing career looked set to fall. The next week, the single rose all the way up to #6. Justin, who had already appeared in two major motion films, was delighted at his top 10 single. Justin and Britney started to date and his future was looking bright.

Later that month, Justin celebrated his 21st birthday and released his debut album, Case Closed. Later that week, Justin found out that his album had sold almost 40,000 copies in just that week! Justin was amazed and so happy that the public had taken to him so well. His debut single went Silver and sold over 135,000 copies in total.

Justin took a few months off to finish filming for his fourth film, No.1. Justin plays a teenager who has troubles at home and at school and turns to music for a way out.

In June, Justin released his second single, "Revolve Around You". After splitting with Britney, Justin decided to dedicate the track to her. The video implied that Britney cheated on him when they were together and Britney didn't take to this too well. This started a bitter feud between the pair who were now rivals in the charts. "Revolve Around You" didn't perform to "Ain't Got A Clue"'s standards, but it was still little from poor. The single managed to sell over 60,000 copies, which was mediocre compared to his debut.

Justin took another few months off to spend with his new girlfriend, Tasha. Justin's record company, Baa Inc., then merged with Breathe.Music to create Baa.Music.

In September, Justin released one of the ballads from his album. "Loser" became a huge hit, after debuting at #5 in the chart; it sold over 90,000 copies in total. Justin's career looked as if it were to be long lasting.

In November, Justin found out that his ex-girlfriend, Britney Aguilera, was pregnant with his baby. Justin was shocked to say the least, as he was now happily engaged to his popstar girlfriend, Tasha. Justin put on a brave face and accepted that he was going to father her baby. Justin and Tasha decided to show the public that things were okay between them, so they released their duet single, "Stay". Stay became Justin's biggest hit. The single debuted at #3, when it was piped to the post by GirlSound and Justin's ex, Britney Aguilera. The single went platinum and proved to be a huge seller too. On Christmas day, Justin and Tasha were wed. The pair married in style, it was a white wedding that they had both dreamed about. Justin had finished promoting his album and his single and was ready to concentrate on new material and sticking by his wife.

Earlier in 2005, Britney Aguilera gave birth to Justin's child prematurely. Britney Aguilera told the public how Justin was a bad father and how he wasn?t there to see it being born, when the reality was, that Britney didn't even tell him about it. Justin was furious and is thinking whether or not to fight for custody of the baby. Justin has always dreamt about being a father, but this is not the way he wanted it.

The Lethal Love Era[edit | edit source]

Justin filed for divorce against Tasha after just five months of marriage, after learning she was pregnant with another man's child. This allowed him more time to push his comeback single and album. "Contagious" was his first single release since the Christmas duet with Tasha, and was his first released on his own label, Spike. When the label became open for other acts to sign to, he surprisingly signed Britney Aguilera to the label, though she was dropped two days later. "Contagious" debuted at #2 on the charts, just behind Emblaze, and the accompanying album, Lethal Love, also debuted at #2. The next month, Justin won Best Male at Urapopstar Awards 10.

Justin's next single was "I Need You/Burn Me Up", released to coincide with the release of the No. 1 movie. While the movie and its soundtrack were a success, the single disappointed when it just barely missed top 5, entering at #6.

The next single was "Broken All The Rules", also taken from Russ Hooch's Anti-Violence Society charity album, which peaked at #3 on the charts. During the course of the single's promotion, Justin started dating Naomi while the pair were working on a sketch for Children In Need. He also decided to close his label Spike to the public and transferred all the acts to a new label managed by Luke Ramada, however much of the acts fled after Luke fell out with Tania Nelsen while she attempted to co-own the label with him. The new label, H2O, closed after two and a half months in business.

The Lethal Love era closed with the single "Anything". Despite low-key promotion, the single managed a #5 charting. After this, Justin took a break from music to focus on his movie career.

The Disco Factory Era[edit | edit source]

The first new material from Justin Case in over a year was released in the form of a duet with Melissa Moore, "Shake It", which was first released on her album Secretary. The song was released May 14 and was predicted to be a chart-topping hit, but in a poor sales week, surprisingly entered the charts at #11. In reaction to the low chart position, the single settled for a #2 position in its second week.

Justin immediately followed things up with the release of his third album The Disco Factory, which heavily utilized the ubiquitous Timbaland sound. The first single, "LoveCase", was also predicted to be a big #1 seller upon its release, but just barely missed the top 5, in a move which prompted him and his manager to leave the music industry for good. Despite their initial disappointments and frustrations, "LoveCase" hit the top 3 the week after and also became his first #1 on the airplay charts, while The Disco Factory reached #1 on albums.
