Logan Bartholomew Cross (born December 24, 1981) is a former stripper-turned-singer/songwriter. He was born in Australia but spends most of his time in the United Kingdom, in search of fame and fortune. And the occassional one night stand. He is best known for his debut single "Freakshow."

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Cross was born in the town of Wagga Wagga, where he grew up on a farm with his two older brothers. At high school he showed an interest in art and drama, until finally taking singing and acting lessons, which propelled him into the world of modelling.

Modelling Career (1999-2003)[edit | edit source]

At the age of nineteen, Cross was modelling for Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Versace, to name a few. But the high life soon started to catch up with him and it wasn't long before Cross was addicted to narcotics and alcohol. With his modelling career down the drown, and his strained relationship with his family on the verge of breaking altogether, Cross headed to Sydney to make it big. Unfortunately, the only gigs he could get were as a stripper.

Stripper Career (2003-2007)[edit | edit source]

With his addiction getting worse, and his health rapidly declining, Cross was eventually dealt an intervention by his parents. They promised to help further his career in the Arts, if he promised to check himself into rehab and kick the bad habits. Reluctant at first, it wasn't long before Cross realised he had no other alternatives. He spent eight weeks in rehab in the Summer of 2007, before heading out into the world a changed man.

Teratology (2009)[edit | edit source]

Main Article: Teratology Cross burst onto the music scene in January, 2009. He made waves with his many live shows, which included two B-Sides to his debut single, as well as writing for several established artists. His debut single Freakshow peaked at #5 on 22/03/09, with 212,255 copies sold overall. The song itself was a dark rock/pop theme, that was a little bit more twisted than people had initially expected. Media and peers alike predicted great things from Cross but a personal crisis took him out of the scene for eight months. Although Cross wasn't in the public eye, his work remained in the charts. He wrote the number one hits Bruises and Compute for Emily Henning and Crystal Barker respectively, as well as many other songs for other artists.

Returning to the industry late in 2009, Cross announced he would be following his debut single up with LOVEKILL - described as a depiction of the many ways you can kill love and love can kill you. The press weren't confident with Cross' latest buzz and even claimed he wasn't as "thrilling" as he once was. Determined to prove them wrong, and in a bid to push himself to work harder, Cross announced he would be releasing his debut album on December 28th, 2009. Teratology consists of thirteen tracks and features collaborations with Elice Claire, Helena Rossi, Indigo Peak, Romo, and China. Cross labelled the album as "experimental," and said he was still trying to work out his own direction.

The Modern Day Rat Pack[edit | edit source]

While Cross' conquests and sexploitations are well documented, there have always been two fellow singers he has stuck close to. Cross, Elice Claire, and Helena Rossi became inseperable soon after "brunching" one day. Rumours started to circulate that the three were in fact a "threesome," and that "they are a few rings short of polygamy." Although Cross, Elice, and Helena each laughed off the accusations, the speculation remains. Cross has always been a supporter of polygamy and has openly stated he could probably never be tied down to just one person. As of November 2009, Cross is still single.
