Alive EP is an EP released by Indigo Peak, supporting their sixth studio album 'Never Really Gone'.
Background[edit | edit source]
The original version of 'Alive' was written for inclusion on Indigo Peak's critically acclaimed sixth studio album 'Never Really Gone'.
It was announced on August 22nd 2021 that the track would form the basis for an EP amongst five additional, previously unheard tracks.
Thematically, the EP deals with themes of life and death in what Yannik Cassenove has described as ”in a celebratory fashion.”
Music Video[edit | edit source]
An accompanying music video, directed by frequent Indigo Peak collaborator Øystein Aspelund was released via YouTube on November 12th, 2021. Shot entirely on location in Norway - the clip showcases the duo performing the track against remote and wintery locales. A statement from Yannik Cassenove revealed that this would be the last video in the 'Never Really Gone' saga.
