'Cold War' was written by Yannik Cassenove during sessions for Indigo Peak's critically acclaimed third album 'Long Live'.
Music Video[edit | edit source]
An accompanying music video, directed by frequent collaborator Spike Jonze was released on July 1st 2009. In reference to 90's movie 'Sliding Doors', the concept see's the duo playing the same character in a split screen scenario whereby Yannik misses a tube train followed by a series of mishaps that eventually lead to Nuclear War whilst Andre remains on his commute for the entirety of the video.

The music video was generally well received. Paul Adams of Metro dubbed the concept "a bonkers affair if we're being honest here." Whilst Mandy Moob of Buzzfeed said "really makes you think."
