"Dominoes" is a song performed by British eurodance recording group Strobelights. The track was originally released in February 2013 by singer Jess Wright, however the group re-recorded and produced it to create a new version, to act as the second single taken from their first studio album TBA (2013). The single was originally scheduled to be a download only single released on 01 April, 2013 along with the album, however with no explanation, the single was pushed back to a later date in 2013. It was eventually completely cancelled, due to fighting amongst the members in the band, and the group disbanded.
Background[edit | edit source]
On 17 February, 2013, singer Jess Wright released her second single "Dominoes", which failed to chart within the UK Top 100. Despite this, Strobelights revealed not long after the release of their debut single that they would be covering the single and releasing it as their second single. Very old school Cascada, doing covers. The single was scheduled to be released on 01 April 2013, however with no explanation the single was not released on it's release date, and neither was the album which was due to be released alongside it.
