Dr. Go Faster is the fourth single to be taken from alternative-pop duo Indigo Peak's debut album 'Sex Sells'.
Background[edit | edit source]
'Dr. Go Faster' was a critical and fan favourite, leading to its single release. The title is a cryptic reference to the class a drug Cocaine, a subject that would later be referenced by the duo in their number one single 'Cocaine', which is called 'Cocaine' because the group sing about 'Cocaine'. Would you like some 'Cocaine'?
Music Video[edit | edit source]
An accompanying music video was released via YouTube on July 17th 2008. Directed by Edina Monsoon, the video concept features Indigo Peak driving very fast in front of a green screen. It is essentially a rip off of 'Something Kinda Ooh' by Girls Aloud but with an extra £5 budget.
Critical Reception[edit | edit source]
Everyone really liked it tbh. It was cheap and cheerful and at this early point in IP's career that was thought of as 'endearing'.
