Fallen Star is the fourth single from Venezuelan-born singer Esmeralda Dimuzio's album The Awakening. The song is a diss towards an unnamed fellow popstar who she claims had ruined her life, and that she hopes that the world can see their true colours, which were not known to the public at the time.
Following a series of events known only as "Whalegate" that turned the Urapopstar world upside down, she decided that this would be the next single from her album; ironically, it was written before such events were even rumoured to be taking place!
The song's video, set in the ghetto, was shot as one continuous scene, portrayed Esmeralda as a homeless former star trying to make ends meet, but got escorted away by the police in the end.
The single charted at #4 with sales of 68,064, becoming her 13th straight top 5 hit and 26th top 5 overall.
