Hits is a greatest hits album issued by British recording artist Shell Ruin. Released on May 15, 2017 by Fusion Records, the album celebrated Ruin's successful return to music. The collection includes every Ruin single from "Feel Alive" to "Daddy Issues," as well as three album tracks which were intended to be singles, "Motel Nights", "Last Days of Disco" and "God Help Us All". "Motel Nights" was included in the soundtrack to Exile in Nashville, "Last Days of Disco" was used in the promotional campaign for Jimmy Choo's Flash fragrance and "God Help Us All" rose to popularity after being performed at the One Love Manchester charity benefit. Hits preceded Ruin's tenth studio album, Luna.
The album served as a follow-up to Ruin's 2010 singles compilation Ultimate, which chronicled Ruin's career from "Not a Love Song" in 2004 to "Politics of Love" in 2009. A Deluxe, double disc edition of the compilation entitled Ultimate Hits was issued which included both albums, and also included the singles "Judas", "Living Proof" and "Dictator" which were released in between both compilations.
