"Immature" is the second single from Amy Marshall's debut album Amy Marshall. Due to the promotional and commercial failure of the previous single, "Fading Into Nowhere", this is widely considered to be Marshall's breakthrough single - and at the time, many thought this was her first single.
Song information[edit | edit source]
The lyrics to "Immature" deal with everyday high school-related issues that Amy had a hard time dealing with during her time in high school. Many youths, especially those who would be considered the "outcasts", found the subject matter of the song relatable.
