The third UK series of The Uraps Factor was broadcast on ITV from 10 March 2014 and ended on ???. The live shows starting on 17 March 2014. The twelve chosen finalists were Angel Vice, Carpe Noctem, Dean Coal, Devereaux, Dione, Emily Orchard, Gwen Strickland, Javier Marquez, Kenzi Hale, Memphis, Sindy Marx and The Viktor Sisters. However before the first live show, Devereaux was ejected from the show and replaced by June Rayne. Candi Elite mentored the Boys (Coal, Marquez and Memphis), Paulo Araujo mentored the Girls (Hale, Marx and Rayne), Kleo Pledger mentored the Over 25s (Vice, Orchard and Strickland) and James Moss mentored the Groups (Carpe Noctem, Dion and The Viktor Sisters). The series was won by Kenzi Hale on 10 April 2015.

Boys[edit | edit source]

The boys were mentored by singer Candi

The "Boys" category was mentored by Candi. Contestants in this category are males aged 16 to 24. The six candidates were Dean Coal, Dominic Pike, Javier Marquez, Martin Test, Memphis and Pharoah. Elite chose

Dean Coal[edit | edit source]

Dean Coal was Candi's last remaining boy. In Week 4 he appeared in the bottom three alongside Carpe Noctem and Gwen Strickland, where it was revealed the act with the most votes would be eliminated immediately. Dean was revealed to have gained the least votes that week and left the competition in 8th place.

Javier Marquez[edit | edit source]

Javier Marquez was the first of Candi's three boys to be eliminated. In Week 2, Javier appeared in the bottom two alongside Carpe Noctem. The judges vote went to deadlock, and it was revealed that Javier had recieved the least votes, leaving the competition in 11th place.

Memphis[edit | edit source]

Memphis was the second of Candi's three boys to be eliminated. In Week 3, Memphis appeared in the bottom two alongside Gwen Strickland. Only Candi voted to send home Gwen, and the other three judges voted out Memphis, meaning he left the competition in 9th place.

Girls[edit | edit source]

The girls were mentored by singer Paulo Araujo

The "Girls" category was mentored by Paulo Araujo. Contestants in this category are females aged 16 to 24. The six candidates were Devereaux, Fleur Logan, June Rayne, Kenzi Hale, Natasha and Sindy Marx. Araujo chose:

June Rayne[edit | edit source]

June Rayne was the first of Paulo's girls to be voted out of the competition. Initially, June was not chosen as one of Paulo's original three girls, however after contestant Devereaux was ejected before the live show, Paulo chose June to replace her. In Week 1, Malaya was put in the bottom two, against male duo Carpe Noctem. The judges vote went to deadlock after Moss and Elite chose to send June home, where as Araujo and Pledger sent home Carpe. It was then revealed that June had received the least amount of public votes, and was the first contestant to be voted out of the competition, finishing in 12th place.

Kenzi Hale[edit | edit source]

Kenzi Hale was Paulo's last remaining acts in the competition. She eventually won the season in a tight race against Overs Angel Vice and Emily Orchard.

Sindy Marx[edit | edit source]

Sindy Marx was Paulo's second act eliminated from the competition. In Week 02 Sindy failed to perform due to an undisclosed "illness" and was given a free pass to the next week. In the third week, it was revealed that Sindy would not be performing again, and was therefore removed from the competition finishing in 10th place. This marks the first ever time an act has been removed from the competition during the live shows, without the public voting.

Over 25s[edit | edit source]

The over 25s category was mentored by singer Kleo

The "Over 25s" category was mentored by Kleo. Contestants in this category are of either gender, aged 25 or over. There is no upper age limit. The six candidates were Angel Vice, Corbin, Emily Orchard, Gwen Strickland, Ja'net and Mercedes Ward. Pledger chose:

Angel Vice[edit | edit source]

Angel Vice was the last remaining of Kleo's acts. In Week 5 Angel appeared in the bottom three alongside Carpe Noctem and The Viktor Sisters. It was revealed the act with the least votes would be eliminated straight away, and this was revealed as Capre Noctem. In the sing off against The Viktor Sisters, James chose to send home Angel, where as Paulo, Candi and Kleo all chose to send home The Viktor Sisters, meaning Angel progressed to the final four. In the final showdown, Angel was voted the runner-up, beating group mate Emily Orchard, but losing to Kenzi Hale.

Emily Orchard[edit | edit source]

Emily Orchard was the second of Kleo's acts to be eliminated. In the final showdown, she placed 3rd with the viewer vote.

Gwen Strickland[edit | edit source]

Gwen Strickland was the first of Kleo's acts to be eliminated from the competition. In Week 3 she appeared in the bottom two alongside Memphis. Candi saved her act and voted out Gwen, where as the Kleo, Paulo and James all voted out Memphis, meaning he left the competition and Gwen went through to the next week. The following week she appeared in the bottom three alongside Dean Coal and Carpe Noctem. The act with the most votes was instantly eliminated (Dean Coal) leaving Gwen in the sing off against Carpe Noctem. Kleo voted to eliminate Carpe Noctem where as Paulo and James voted out Gwen. Due to Candi refusing to vote due to loosing her last act, this therefore meant with two out of three votes Gwen was eliminated and left the competition in 7th place and becoming the first Over to be eliminated.

Groups[edit | edit source]

The groups were mentored by singer James Moss

The Groups category was mentored by James Moss. Acts in this category are duos or vocal groups. All members must be aged 16 or over. The six candidates were Blessed Light, Carpe Noctem, Dione, Modernary, The Viktor Sisters and XXXY. Moss chose:

Carpe Noctem[edit | edit source]

Carpe Noctem were a male duo and are one of James' three remaining contestants. On Week 1 Carpe Noctem appeared in the bottom two alongside June Rayne. The vote went to deadlock after judges Kleo and Paulo voted out Carpe Noctem and Candi and James voted out June. The public's vote revealed that June had received the least amount of votes and was eliminated. On Week 2 Carpe Noctem appeared in the bottom two for the second week in a row, this time against Javier Marquez. The votes once again went to deadlock, and it was revealed Javier had received the least votes, surviving once again. In Week 4, the group appeared in the bottom three alongside Dean Coal and Gwen Strickland. It was revealed the act with the least votes would be eliminated immediately. This was revealed to be Dean Coal, leaving Carpe and Gwen to face the sing off. Paulo and James voted to send home Gwen where as Kleo voted to send home Carpe. Due to her final act being eliminated, Candi refused to vote, meaning with two out of three votes, Gwen was eliminated and Carpe Noctem survived their third sing off. In Week 5, Carpe Noctem appeared in the bottom three again, the fourth time they found themselves in the bottom, this time against The Viktor Sisters and Angel Vice. The act with the least votes would once again be eliminated instantly, and this was revealed to be Carpe meaning they were the the first of the group's to be eliminated, leaving the competition in 6th place.

Dione[edit | edit source]

Dione are a four-piece girl group and James' last group in the competiton. They made it to the semi final in Week 6, but then withdrew from the competition before the final 4 were due to compete, thus skipping a round to the final 3 showdown.

The Viktor Sisters[edit | edit source]

The Viktor Sisters are a female sibling duo. In Week 5 they appeared in the bottom three alongside Angel Vice and Carpe Noctem where it was revealed the act with least votes would be instantly eliminated. This was revealed to be Carpe Noctem leaving The Viktor Sisters to face Angel in the sing off. With the judges votes, James chose to send home Angel where as Paulo, Candi and Kleo all voted against The Viktor Sisters, meaning they became the second group to be eliminated and elft the competition in 5th place.
