Rise From The Ashes is sixteenth overall single to be released by singer-songwriter Ashley!, and the fifth and final track to be lifted from her third album, Silver Lining. Musically, the track is described as a 'soaring power ballad, taking emotions to new heights' and lyrically speaks of Ashley rising from the darkest points and biggest struggles of her life, and dealing with her new found fame, becoming the singers most personal song of her career to date. The track closes the mother-album, and reflects this by begin the final single to be released in closing the era. The single was produced by Emanuel Kiriakou and written by Ashley herself.
The single was released on July 7th 2014, exactly one year after the release of the album's lead single. Upon release, the track charted at #1 on both the Uraps Official Chart and Digital Chart, and a week later hit the #1 spot on the Airplay chart, becoming a chart topper on all of the major charts. The single sold 119,894 copies on it's first week of release, clearing it's nearest competitor by over 25,000.
The song lasted for 20 weeks on chart, making it her joint longest-charting track, matching Marionette from two years previously. As well as this, it became her second highest selling single to date, and of the album era (behind the album's lead single Light Up The World), selling 533,960 copies by the end of its run, managing a Platinum certification, despite it's boundary change. Rise From The Ashes was also announced as the highest selling single of its release month in the 12 Hits of Christmas at the end of the year. The track was nominated for three awards at the Urapopstar Awards 26 - nominated in the Single Of The Year and the Best Female Video category, winning Best Pop/Dance Single.
