Sandi Cohen
Sandi Cohen (nee York) is a British alternative rock singer. She began her career in 2007 using her maiden name, and accumulated a string of hits from her debut album Personality Disorders under the moniker Sandi York including "To Belong To This World" (#2) and "I Am The Devil" (#1), both underscored by massive promotional campaigns. But her public image suffered later that year, and subsequent album The Butterfly Effect was regarded as a failure.
In late 2008, Sandi returned to prominence with the single "Catatonia" and album The Road To Oblivion, which became two of her greatest successes to date. In April 2009, Sandi announced she was engaged to a man named Tomas Cohen, going on to add her future releases will be released with Cohen as her surname. As Sandi Cohen, she earned two top 5 hits including "Exhalation", which became her first top 3 single since her early career.
Sandi will return with her fourth album in 2010. Its lead single is "Wall Street Pornography", a collaboration with DJ Double Garage.
