The Hookertastic Show: Starring Bella-May was the second concert tour by Bella-May in support of her self-titled sophmore album. The tour got it's name from Bella's 5th single "Hooker On A Church Corner".
Visiting 17 different theatres around the UK and Ireland, The Hookertastic Show recieved extremely positive reviews from critics, many complimenting the singer for the spectacular 'show' she put on, despite only being a theatre tour. Popjustice said the tour was 'money well spent'.
Background[edit | edit source]
During the promotion for Bella's single "The Escort" / "Marble Cake", she announced on Radio One that she would be touring theaters around the UK and Ireland in August 2011 and that she hoped to have her second album released to coincide with. Tickets were released for sale in early May and many shows had sold out by August. The tour's title "The Hookertastic Show: Starring Bella-May!" was revealed 10 days before the tour began.
Critical Reception[edit | edit source]
The tour received exceptionally positive reviews from critics and fans alike. Heat Magazine called the tour "a show every lad and lesbian in the country needs to go to for a night out!" and claimed Bella's raunchy choreography blew them away.
Popjustice added: "While Bella's material is constantly improving, albeit rather slowely, she managers to put on amazing peformances even for her most dire songs. And there are plenty of them. With the right songs, she could be a huge worldiwide star. She's one to watch, I imagine she will sell out stadiums within the next 5 years".
The Mirror gave the tour a 10/10 score and called it "outstandingly amazing".

Broadcastings and Recordings[edit | edit source]
Bella told fans on Twitter that there was no plans to release the Hookertastic Show on DVD. However, many fans claim to have seen extra cameras filming the show in London's Hammersmith Apollo. Bella's manager took to Twitter to say: "Hookertastic Show filmed yes, DVD plans - unknown". As of December 2012, no DVD has been released and it is unlikely as the Sex Before Marriage Tour (taking place throughout July 2012) has already been released on DVD.
In July 2013, during promotion for her third album Ready or Not, Bella revealed that the Hookertastic Show was not released on DVD due to "poorly shot footage" and claimed that she was disappointed it didn't work out as it is one of her favourite tours.
