The music video for Watch Me Shine was inspired by the 2009 American superhero film The Watchmen. It was filmed on March 23, 2009, in the United Kingdom, and the final edit of the music video was released on April 17, 2009. The music video was directed by Mike Simpson and Robin Van Calcar, and it was produced by MrsGrey productions. Set in the late 1980s, Emily appears as superhero 'EmHen' in the video. She battles to defeat the evil villain, played by Waz Ashayer, a male model who became famous after appearing on Make Me a Supermodel.
