Danish dance sensation Charlie C, real name Charlotte Carlson, began her career in cheesy pop group Didinanana but after just a couple of singles Charlotte decided to go back to university to study fashion & music. In 2003 Charlotte signed a record deal with Baa.Inc and released her debut single I Just Wanna Be Your Lover which became a massive top ten hit, since then things have just improved more and more and Charlotte now has many top ten successes under her belt as well as two number one singles & two number one platinum selling albums as well as a Uraps Award for best collaboration in 2004. Also being the business lady that she is Charlotte invested some of her money into a club which is appropriately called Cheeky Charlie's which is still a very successful gay club in the Midlands but Charlotte sold the club so that she could concentrate more on her music career.

Welcome To Fun[edit | edit source]

The debut & most successful album for the Charlie C project to date, it was released after the release of Forever On My Mind & the album hung around the top ten for quite some time but a reissued version of the album finally reached the number one spot when Charlie C collaborated with Chayne Moore on the number one smash hit double A side single Ooh...Aah...Saturday Night/In My Life. Six singles were released off Welcome To Fun, all of which were huge top ten hits.

Charlie C's first number one single released with Chayne Moore which later on won best collaboration at the Uraps Awards in 2004.

Listen Up[edit | edit source]

This album was released the same week as Charlie's seventh UK single was released, being Kissing You (I'm In Love)/In My Eyes which both shot to the top of the charts in their first week, the week after the DVD Listen Up & Watch Out was released which also entered the charts at number one, which meant that Charlie was number one in the single, album & DVD charts in the same week. Two more singles were released after this which both went top ten.

Let Yourself Go[edit | edit source]

This album released in the summer of 2006 accompanied with the release of Funkytown Lover, the only single to be released from the album. The album has so far managed to enter the top five. A release of If It Ain't Broke (Don't Fix It) was supposed to be released in the summer of 2007 but due to illness and her father also being ill the single was cancelled.

Best Of/Best Of Remixed[edit | edit source]

A collection of Charlie C's hit singles as well as 3 new songs including the number one single I Like The Way You... and #4 hitChemistry. The album was released on 31st March and a Limited Special Edition version of the album was also released which included several acoustic tracks and remixes. Chemistry was released as a double A side single along with a cover of the Chayne Moore classic When Push Comes To Shove (I Want Your Love). Due to the successful promotion of the single a remix compilation was released entitled Best of Remixed which features new and old remixes of Charlie's hits.
