Reception[edit | edit source]

The new mix of the song premiered on VEVO and received positive reviews from fans and critics alike, many noting Sexy Star's vocal performance and the lyrics of the song. Many people also welcomed Beastette's addition to the song as well.

Chart performance[edit | edit source]

The single debuted at #9, giving Star his eighth top ten single to date and his second from the FUNeral album. Although lower than the chart position of the lead single, "Cremation Vacation" still managed to outsell "Love Letters + Stab Wounds" and received a Silver certification. To date, the single has spent a total of nine weeks in the top 40, becoming his second longest single in the charts, behind "Mr. G".

Music video[edit | edit source]

The video premiered on Sexy Star's website on September 8, 2011 and received mixed reviews for its simplistic concept.

The video opens with Sexy Star and Beastette holding hands as they walk down a street during a storm, both of them getting drenched with rain. They walk more, and more, and more, all whilst singing the song and staring straight into the camera, as they continue to walk, the storm begins to clear up more, they then suddenly stop at the final chorus and their eyes shift for the first time, the camera turns around to reveal a crematorium. They then begin to walk towards it as the video fades out.

Live performances[edit | edit source]

Minimal live promotion was done for the single and to date, has still not been performed live on TV.
