Demonic[edit | edit source]

Demonic(born Derrick Thomas in the east Midlands in 1992)started his rap career in 1999 at the tender age of 7. Just left school demonic has set out to pursue his rap career full time. After Recording a demo in London Demonic met upcoming RnB artist Fly Project who was also recording a demo at the same studio demonic listened to Fly Project's recording. 1 week later Demonic asked if Fly Project would work on a song with him FP agreed and they both worked on a song entitled "switch it up". Soon after the collaboration Demonic met USA producer Danja who soon introduced him to Timbaland; Timbaland became quickly fond of Demonic and they both collaborated on a song which soon became "From Nothing To Something" which later was re-recorded with Just Blaze. After the release and the failure of "From Nothing To Something" Demonic announced he would release a new single and re-record most of his album to fit with today's trends. Demonic collaborated with Hip Hop Icon RZA and they produced the 2nd single "Close Your Eyes". Demonic has recently signed with Saturdays Records The label will release upcoming Demonic Projects.

Hip Hop Jesus[edit | edit source]

The title for the debut album was announced in a on-line interview where Demonic stated "The album is going to be super hot it will sound amazing that's why its going to be titled "Hip Hop Jesus". But due to the lack of interested record labels fans believe that the album will be commercial failure just like the début single. The album has been slated for Aug 24Th with majority production coming from the USA with the likes of Dr Dre, Timbaland and Ryan Leslie producing. Plans have been announced for the release of Hip Hop Jesus to be released on Demonic's own Big Movement Records. Recently the song "Like Mike" had been leaked worldwide and has been tipped as the next single though no confirmation has been made. conspiracies of why the album failed to sell are that the wrong singles were choosen to lead the album and that not enough time were spent on the promotion of the album. Though Demonic has announced that the 2nd album will feature more commercial music that will hopefully result to better album sales, also demonic stated that no matter how commercial the album will be the quality will still remain at high quality.

BMR (Big Movement Records)[edit | edit source]

Demonic decided to venture out and find his own independent label. The label first official signing (other than Demonic) is Fly Project who is a very close friend of demonic. Fly Project has produced for Demonic's first album out August 24th. Currently the label is looking for new talent to sign.

second studio album[edit | edit source]

Due to Hip Hop Jesus failing in the UK Demonic has announced to move forward with the next album instead of re-releasing his Hip Hop Jesus album. No name has yet been confirmed but the album is set to be released Jan 2010
