Ellen Fitzpatrick (March 21, 1971) was born in Boston Massachusetts to 1st generation Irish parents. She began getting into music at an early age. By the age of 9 she was singing in church and was playing piano. She earned a scholarship to Boston College majoring in music and minoring in psychology, but dropped out after only two years.

In 1996 she formed a relationship with Tom Little. After Ellen became pregnant with his child, they married quickly. Ellen suffered a miscarriage one month into the marriage, but it was later revealed she secretly had an abortion.

Tom became an unbearable husband, ballooning in weight and brought the couple deep into debt. Ellen filed for divorce in 1999 after Tom was arrested for tax fraud.

Ellen was discovered by Visionary Records in December 2004, and was signed to a one album deal. Her style was to bring some irish-pop influence with a pinch of Dido. She released her debut single The Perfect Curse in March 2005 on her 34th birthday. The single did not do as well as expected, debuting at #21 on the charts, but managed to peak at #17. It's Ellen's worst selling single to date.

Visionary gave her a second chance, and she released her 2nd single, her rendition of Anggun's Snow on the Sahara in June. The single got to #13 on the chart, but quickly fell out of the top 40 selling just over 44,000 copies.

In October 2005, Ellen released her debut album Broken Circles. The album featured different styles for the singer, including a new dance route which was evident in her 3rd single. The song What You Want From Me a collaboration with dance artist DJ Double Garage was released in October 2005. The single also featured a Candlelight Mix for fans of Ellen's ballad sound. What You Want From Me debuted at #14 and peaked at #12 on the chart. The album Broken Circles debuted at #16.

After only reaching #12 by 3 singles, Visionary co-owner Alesha dropped Ellen without notifying founder Andrea Twain. Twain cancelled Ellen's drop and Alesha abruptly left Visionary to pursue a career in kidnapping people. Esmeralda Dimuzio then took Alesha's place and renewed Ellen's contract for another album.

Ellen's behavior began to get a little strange around this era, but nothing was stranger than her desire to release Christmas week. She released her 4th single, a more pop-sounding Walking on Water. She was expected to do poorly, but many were shocked to see her debut at #16 and rise to #13 the following week. The single went on to be Ellen's biggest selling single at the time, selling over 73,000 copies.

Ellen released the 5th and final single from Broken Circles in April 2006. The song was Dance Under the Stars and written by pop duo Heaven shortly before the split. The song only peaked at #15 on the chart and dropped out faster than it entered.

Ellen made her triumphant return at the end of 2006. At this point her behavior had gotten more bizarre and she began a paedophilic obsession with Nate Brown. She went for a new direction in her music releasing the ultra campy An EllenTASTIC Christmas. This was considered one of her best songs by the critics, and on the toughest week of the year Ellen debuted at #11 on the chart.

Ellen began work on her sophomore album EllenTASTIC and released the first single I'm Beautiful (Dammit!) featuring Jake and Kazimiera in April 2007. The song only peaked at #17, but she quickly bounced back with the follow-up singles Stain On The Mattress and Where In The World Is Britney Aguilera?, both of which peaked at #11. The album's last single Where in the World is Britney Aguilera? is her biggest seller to date finishing just shy of 100,000 copies.

After a long break, Ellen is scheduled to participate on Tango Challenge 3. She will be releasing a cover of Kiss' I Was Made For Lovin' You with Full Quality and is expected to drop February 23, 2009.

As of Febauary 1, 2009 Ellen has signed a new contract with Elite Records, and is working on her 3rd album which is expected to drop in the 2nd quarter. While the album still has yet to be released, a song that will appear on it, You Called The Wrong Name became Ellen's first top ten single, reaching #10 on its week of release. The single was followed up with an even bigger hit, Boink!, which reached #7.
