Jaded are a British girlband made up of singers and all round pop totty Amber, Charlotte, Jessica, Rebecca and Sophie who are in fact so fierce they do not have surnames.

Background[edit | edit source]

Jaded were originally put together by record company Ensemble who launched a nationwide talent search to find a brand new girlband back in 2005. After beating out thousands to get their places in the band the fivesome moved to London, got popstar makeovers, cheap hair extensions, passes to the Ivy and set on recording their debut album but it wasn't all plain sailing!

In 2006 the group released their debut album entitled Are You Choking On Our Contradiction? which produced the number one single Some Boys Get All The Luck but behind the scenes the band was in crisis, despite the backing of their label the group had gone through three management changes in less thank six months resulting in a disjointed album and promotional campaign, when their duet with Cleo Clarice, Must Be More Than Hormones charted at #11 they were dropped by the label.

In 2008 Jaded were one of the first acts to sign with the newly formed Saturdays Records and are currently working on their second album which is expected in January 2009. So far with the label they have released the singles It's Not Big & It's Not Clever, So Macho and Teach Me How To Sin.
