Main Article: Beautiful Innocence

In April 2006, Natasha arrived on the Urapopstar with a sombre and mellow track Fairytale Disasters, which received minimal airplay and television support. The track eventually entered the Official Charts at a disappointing #19

Despite the disappointment of the previous single, Hilton received a second chance, and started promotion for the second single Something For The Lovers. This received substantial media support, and became her first top ten single, reaching #07. The single went on to sell over 150,000 copies in the UK.

Hltons then released her long awaited debut album, in June, titled Beautiful Innocence which debuted and peaked at #10 on the album charts. The single of the same name was later released, featuring Arwyn Knight, and entered the charts at #06, becoming Hiltons biggest hit to date.

The final track to be lifted from the debut era was the double A side I Shiver/I Wrote This Tragedy For You, which entered the charts at a disappointing #13.

Growing Pains (2007)[edit | edit source]

Main Article: Growing Pains

Natasha returned to the music scene in 2007, after a well earned break, with new single Growing Pains, another acoustic type track in the same vein as Lisa Mitchelle, Dido etc. The track, like Fairytale Disaster didn't receive very much airplay, and although Hilton appeared on shows such as GMTV, This Morning and Ministry of Mayhem, the single stalled at #13, before falling out the charts quickly.

The second studio album, also titled Growing Pains, was released two weeks after the single, and entered the charts at a disappointing #15. The album was extremely unsuccessfull, despite gaining criticial acclaim, and failed to sell 50,000 copies.
Another single was released from the album in April, Diamond Rain, which entered at #14, and it wasn't until January the following year that Natasha earned her first top ten of the era, with the closing single When In Rome, reaching #06. Natasha was subsequently dropped from her record label.

December 2009 saw Natasha announce a musical comeback, after being dropped in February 2008. However, the Natasha that announced this musical comeback with nothing like the Natasha that had left us. Long gone were the bed hair and floaty, nightie like dresses, as before us stood a confident, sexy and sassy young woman. The change in appearance also marked a change in music for Natasha, who up until now had performed acoustic, guitar driven tracks, with beautiful melodies and quirky vocals.

It was announced that this was to be replaced with euphoric dance beats, and synths, as Natasha attempted to fit into the electropop genre.

Her new single, The Nth Degree, was premiered in January 2010, and was looking for a February 22nd release. The single was met with high praise, and after an impressive promotional tour of television and radio, as well as recent appearances in the tabloid newspapers, The Nth Degree entered the Urapopstar Charts at #4, giving Natasha her first top five hit, selling just under 56,000 copies in it's first week. After the release of the single, Natasha announced her new single and album plans. It was announced on the 5th March 2010 that the singers second single Girl World would be released 5th April 2010, and the third album Dog Eat Dog would be available a week later, on the 12th April 2010. On 17th March 2010, Natasha once again revealed a new look, which was met to positive replies, people branding her "dirty, I like that". However, after a few weeks of promotion, the new single and album was cancelled, as Hilton wanted more 'creative control' over her material. She returned to Urapopstar in April 2010, announcing her brand new album, Twenty Four & Loveless, would be released on 14th June 2010. The album will be preceded by the single Not Sixteen Anymore on June 7th
