Sinopia Skies were a folk partnership consisting of Jesus H. Christ and Bronagh "Summerbreeze" O'Malley, both shortlived members of Gingers+Jesus original line-up.
Career[edit | edit source]
Gingers+Jesus and formation[edit | edit source]
Jesus and Summerbreeze first found a questionable level of fame as two fifths of the first line-up of Gingers+Jesus, alongside Just Ginger, Tentrita and Nicola Uggo. Their only single Foo Foo charted at #38 and the band vanished into obscurity once more. In-fighting was the reason, Bronagh felt the group had little credibility and left, whilst Jesus was forced out due to 'lewd behaviour' and sexual harassment towards Ginger, Tentrita and new girl Pat.
The pair would not meet again for a year, but when they did they found 'love and enlightenment'. Bronagh changed her name to Summerbreeze and Jesus worked on his sex addiction. With their demons under lock and key, they applied for URAPS Idol: Second Chance hoping to return to the top 40 with their new project Sinopia Skies.
Uraps Idol[edit | edit source]
The pair applied for Uraps Idol: Second Chance singing 'Don't Dream Its Over' by Crowded House, they received rave reviews, except from judge and former bandmate Just Ginger. For the first few weeks of the competition the group received high praise from the judges, but soon they fell out of favour. A mix of their lack of versatility and Jesus' sexist ways caused the group to lose popularity, leading the group to four weeks in the bottom 3. A fourth spell was the result of a camp performance of Something Kinky and A Dangerous Liaison, at which point the group were eliminated after Summerbreeze stated she did not want to remain in the competition. Jesus left the partnership the day the results were announced. The partnership split following a lack of record label interest.

2011: Reunion and Debut Album[edit | edit source]
In 2011, after not being selected as Israel's entrant in Uravision 2011, Jesus reunited with Summerbreeze and attempted to spark interest in the project again. They were signed to Trish Records and began work on their debut album.
Personal Lives[edit | edit source]
Jesus and Summerbreeze were in an open relationship with one another, they have reportedly had sexual relationships with some of their fellow Idol contestants, and allegedly, even some judges.
