Background and development[edit | edit source]
The 'Scream Live' tour was announced on December 07, 2009 and was confirmed to be Wolfe's first arena tour, following the success of her theatre tour earlier in 2009.
Tickets went on sale on December 11, 2009 and had sold out within 3 days. The tour was announced alongside plans to release track 'Scream' as her next single from the album 'Cry Wolfe'.
When Wolfe entered a rehabilitation program on January 06, 2010, to be treated for nervous exhaustion, her label at the time Ensemble cancelled the tour but didn't offer a refund to fans.
Syd made a full recovery and returned to promotional duties in March 2010, announcing the 'Scream Live' tour had been rescheduled for May 2010. She added 7 extra dates into June.
The tour was held in partnership with Live Nation & Giorgio Armani. It was sponsored by Motorola & Pepsi.
