Light After Dark is the second studio album by American pop singer Blonde Ambition, and was released January 16, 2012, peaking at #2 and going onto receive a Platinum certification. Lead single "Knock Knock" was released on the same date and also peaked at #2, going Platinum. Later singles were eventually cancelled due to Blonde becoming pregnant, deciding she wanted a break from music.

Critical reception[edit | edit source]

The album received mixed to positive reviews from critics, many of them noting the album was a huge step up from her debut album 'The Beauty Within and that her new house-inspired direction was a much suited genre to her vocals.

Chart performance[edit | edit source]

The album debuted at #2 on the UK Albums Chart, her second consecutive album to do so, selling 140,487 copies in its first week.
