The Last Dance Tour is the final world tour by Jack Stevens

Background[edit | edit source]

‘The Last Dance’ is the second and final world tour by Jack Stevens and will play a number of stadiums across the UK, Europe, Japan and Australia before a selection of small and intimate United States dates in 2023.

Announcing his retirement from music through his social media channels in August 2002. Jack described the tour as a "farewell" and "one last trip to the dancefloor". He promised the fans can expect all of his most well-known and loved hit singles, plus a number of surprises. In September 2020, he announced that Izzy would act as the tour's special guest in performances that will be her first in over a decade.

The international leg of the tour will see Jack play shows in a number of countries he has not visited since his 'Affirmative World Tour' in 2010.

Reception[edit | edit source]

Tickets for the tour were released on September 1, 2020 for fans who pre-ordered his remix collection 'The Last Dance' through his official website.

Live Nation reported huge demand for the tour and after just a few hours on sale, additional shows in the United Kingdom were announced including third and fourth nights at Wembley Stadium and new shows in Bristol and Cardiff were added. Further shows across Europe were added in new markets including the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. In October 2022, a number of intimate US dates were added, marking Jack's first full length headline shows in America.

Concept[edit | edit source]

Speaking about the upcoming tour as part of an interview with the BBC, Jack said that he had spent weeks putting together what he thought was the "perfect setlist" and the show will tell the "story of his career" told by the songs that made him and some that nearly destroyed him.

In another interview with The Guardian he described the tour as "the most ambitious thing I've ever attempted in my career" and that he planned to "go out on top" with the "ultimate Jack Stevens show"
