Arcadium is the second studio album by duo Indigo Peak. It was released in November 2008 to much critical acclaim as is certified Diamond. A special edition re-release featuring additional tracks including the Alesha collaboration "Filthy Preacher," returned the album to the top of the charts.

Background[edit | edit source]

Indigo Peak began preparing tracks for their second LP during their Active Duty 2008 tour. Under pressure from then label Wired Records the duo were asked to record tracks similar in style and composition to their first album which caused a point of contention in the Indigo Peak camp. Following a highly publicised legal battle Ensemble Entertainment bought the brothers out of their contract and promised more creative freedom. Tracks recorded with Wired were retooled or discarded and the band embarked on a two week writing camp in Sweden. The resulting sessions proved fruitful and in October 2008 the duo announced they would release their second album and first for Ensemble, 'Arcadium'.

'Grand Theft Auto' was chosen as the albums lead single, debuting at number one. This was followed by number one singles 'Kissing A Cobra', double a-side and Alesha collaboration 'Filthy Preacher/'Shoot To Kill' and a remixed version of album cut 'Red Raw'.
