'Song 4 China',/'Forget me' was the second single by duo Indigo Peak. The release would become what may consider to be the duos breakthrough hit when it rose to the number one position in its second week of release. 'Song 4 China' features a guest vocal by China.

Background[edit | edit source]

Following the success of their debut single 'Beat Junkie', Wired Records offered Indigo Peak a three album deal. In demo form, a track entitled 'Song For Lovers', was offered to the duo, sang by session singer China who had recently been offered a deal of her own. The brothers completely retooled and rewrote from the original demo and asked China to re-record vocals reflecting the new lyrics. This lead to its eventual completion and renaming to 'Song 4 China'. Originally a Mix Tape track, 'Forget Me' was reworked and rewritten extensively and served as a double a side to 'Song 4 China'.

Music Video[edit | edit source]

Song 4 China[edit | edit source]

Directed by famed creative Edina Monsoon, the 'Song 4 China' video features Indigo Peak and China performing the track in a nightclub to a crowd of supporters. As the video progresses, the crowd steadily reveal themselves to be vampires. The three stars stop their performance and a two minute segment features the trio attempting to escape their predicament. They are eventually ambushed by the Vampire hoard and we return to the stage, where Indigo Peak and China perform the tracks climax having also been transformed into Vampires.

Forget Me[edit | edit source]

Also directed by Edina Monsoon, the 'Forget Me' video features Indigo Peak performing the track in a seemingly unending maze. Various shots of the brothers separated, attempting to navigate the maze are shown with heavy use of CGI shots to show the extent of the mazes size.
