Greatest Hits is the first compilation album from Latina superstar Esmeralda Dimuzio. It reflects back on the first four years of her career in a 2-disc retrospective. It also closed out her deal with Alias Records.

The album was released because Esmeralda wanted to release a new album, but didn't have enough songs written to release a full studio album. So she decided to do a 2-disc greatest hits collection, one featuring all the hits she wrote and performed by herself, and the other disc of her duets and new songs.

One of the new songs is rumoured to be about collaborator Amy Marshall, in response to her recent changes in behaviour; she eventually revealed it to be "The Only One To Blame".

This is Esmeralda's first album to include three out of her four duets from 2006; only Local Legend was previously on an Esmeralda CD, but not in the single version; a solo version was on the Imperfect Balance album.

The album reached #1 in its debut week, preventing collaborator Amy Marshall from reaching the top with her album Morbid Lullabies; Amy would take over the #1 spot for the following two weeks.
