Julianne Bechet is a singer and actress, who finished third in the 2004 season of URAPS Idol.

She was originally an actress in various drama productions, and always on the honour roll at her school. Upon graduating high school, she was awarded a scholarship to a prestigious arts college, which she accepted. One thing that her peers always noticed was her singing talent.

Once the URAPS Idol auditions took place, Julianne was encouraged by some of her friends to audition. She took their advice, and made it into the final 12. Beating out some heavy favourites such as Riley Hart and Melissa Moore, she finished in third place, and was awarded a recording contract with Inner'sense.

She had a debut single planned, Where Would You Be/Inspiration, including a self-written song (WWYB) and a song written by Hailey Klass (Inspiration). The single was released in June 2004, and peaked at #13, where it quickly fell off.

Following the success of her debut single, Julianne set to work on her album, which also included songs written by Charlie C, Aloud, and Madison from fellow reality band Background Melodies. The album, entitled Smile, would chart at #25, quickly disappearing from the charts; the next single, the self-written Another Chance, despite being one of Julianne's best-written songs lyrically, failed to make the top 40. Following this flop, she decided to leave the music industry and focus on acting in stage productions.

Julianne would make another attempt at reviving her music career, entering in Reborn in Urapopstar, but ended up not going very far.
