"In Touch" is a song by Canadian R&B singer Jackson Bradshaw which features American urban pop singer Honey on guest vocals, though the both of them sing the entire song in harmony. It was written by Bradshaw and his frequent songwriting partner Stephanie Kesh and produced by the latter. An alternate version, originally produced by Jim Beanz, was supposed to be on Bradshaw's debut album Something Special but was accidentally left off the album. In October 2012, the single was to be paired with what would've been Bradshaw's second single from Something Special titled "Before You Walk Out", which also featured Honey; the single release was postponed. When sessions for Bradshaw's sophomore album Take You Higher began, the song was re-arranged and re-produced by Kesh and was released as the second single from Take You Higher. In the UK, the single was released as a double A-side single, paired with "Above Ground", Bradshaw's fourth and final single from his debut album Something Special. The single was released on September 9, 2013.
Two versions of the song exist: the original album version which has a more R&B sound and a pop version, also dubbed the "Throwback Pop Mix", which has a more 1990's pop sound to it. The song received critical acclaim who praised that Bradshaw's and Honey's voice meshed together well.
In September 2013, "In Touch" debuted and peaked at #11 on the UK Singles Chart, selling 19,558 copies in the first week. It became Bradshaw's first single to miss the top ten in the UK since "Hard To Find" and failed to match the success of Bradshaw's previous single "Don't Say Goodnight" which peaked at #5 in the UK and became Bradshaw's biggest international hit. In the following week after its debut, the single dropped to #12 despite a sales increase. To date, the single, alongside its double A "partner" "Above Ground", has sold 69,482 copies to date and has stayed on the chart for three weeks so far. "In Touch" peaked at #13 on the UK Digital chart and #26 on the UK Top 40 airplay chart.
"In Touch" was not widely released internationally as Bradshaw's previous single "Don't Say Goodnight"; "In Touch" was only released in Canada and the United States where, in the latter, it peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #6 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The single has already been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In Canada, the single has peaked at #11 on the Canadian Hot 100.
No music video was shot for the single.
