Alicia was an R&B singer from the USA. She she born on 23rd March 1980.

She arrived at Urapopstar in late 2002. She was highly enthusiastic about releasing her music, and often got overexcited and this caused her to be disliked my many of the acts on Uraps. She faught through this and thankfully managed to win the respect of her fellow artists, garnering three top five albums, nine top ten singles including her only number one Hot Fudge in June 2004.

On boxing day 2003 she married rockstar Larynx Trasher. They had a happy marriage, accompanied by Larynx's son Jordan, who Alicia cared very much for. Unfortunatley in November 2004 the pair decided to divorce after immense argument.

In May 2005, Alicia declared a break from Uraps. She returned in 2006 and everything was going successfully until she was jailed in March 2006 for murdering her husband.

She is still in jail now, however her life sentence may be reduced due to good behaviour.

She was due to present Second Chance Idol with 4tune live from her jail cell, however the show was axed.

Music[edit | edit source]

Xmas Feel Platinum[edit | edit source]

Alicia's debut album release was her Christmas album in December 2002. The album performed abysmally as there was no promotion for it, however it still sells a few hundred copies from bargain bin sales at Christmas time.

Alicia[edit | edit source]

Her true debut was her self-titled release in February 2003. It featured her debut single Fruit Twist - a summery offering which reached top three in January 2003. It also lifted many other singles - Stroke/Bad Boy Good Girl - a combination of a classic R&B ballad and a heavy club anthem, Confessions/Full Moon - two of Alicia's favourite all time songs by Destinys Child and Brandy, One Of Gods Better People, a beautiful piano ballad which many consider to be the highlight of her career and Smoking - a song dedicated to her pet hate of the habit.

Between One Of Gods Better People and Smoking, Alicia released her version of I Miss You by Darren Hayes for Artists Against AIDS, an organisation which allowed artists to release their own singles to promote and raise awareness of the AIDS desease. Alicia took the single to #4, and it was the biggest single from the Artists Against AIDS album.

Alicia's album sold over a million copies and was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize in 2003.

It was essentially an R&B album, complete with the uptempo tracks like Fruit Twist, Bad Boy Good Girl and Confessions, however it was the ballads that provided the highlights.

It was considered one of the best urban albums of the year, and received praise from Miss Drips, Angel-V and MC Labels amongst others.

The album was abandoned in November 2004 after it was decided it had reached its full potential at 44 weeks on the chart.

Alicia had surprassed all expectations. She had come from a little-known figure of hate to a million selling female icon of the year in the space of 12 months.

Between Alicia releasing her first and second album, she released a cover of the Trina single Off Tha Chain with her best friend Boogie2nite. It was seldom well received, and although neither act were popular with the Urapopstar crowd, least of all Boogie2nite, the single managed a respectable #6 chart position. It sunk out of the chart after three weeks.

Alicia then concentrated on releasing her second album.

Urban Myth II[edit | edit source]

Alicia's second album Urban Myth II was released in June 2004 to an amazing response. It featured 18 tracks and contained collaborations with MC Labels, Hannah Alethia, and her husband Larynx Trasher, and had songs written by Lucreacia also.

The album shot straight in at #1, and remained there for two weeks, following in the footsteps of Hot Fudge, which remains to the day Alicia's only #1 hit single.

The album itself sold over 750,000 copies and spent 26 weeks on the chart.

The album produced two more singles - Cruelty, which was remixed to a more hip hop sound by MC Labels, and caused controversy with the violent video and controversial lyrics about killing a boyfriend due to him cheating. Little did Alicia know how relevant this song would become to her.

The album's final single was Angels/Honesty - Angels was a ballad dedicated to her brother who was killed in 2002 due to his involvement in gang culture. Honesty was taken from Alicia's only film of the same name, and was an angst-ridden track about discovering an unfaithful boyfriend.

The single was Alicia's only Christmas release, and just missed the top ten on Christmas week, however climbed into the top 10 a week later.

The Singles So Far & I'll Do The Rest[edit | edit source]

Alicia returned in May 2005 with her final single I'll Do The Rest and her singles collection The Singles So Far.

The album contained Alicia's previous 13 singles as well as new track I'll Do The Rest. It was helpful towards the new members who weren't familiar with Alicia's career.

The album itself reached #4, however the single didn't fare as well and limped in at #14. Alicia was disappointed to leave her career at such a low, however with no record deal or futher plans she was forced to go.

Envy and Other Sins[edit | edit source]

This was Alicia's planned comeback album in April 2006 - a collection of experimental electronica tracks influenced by her new indie label and underground sounds. It was a promising prospect and was signed by Tigerstar records and Alicia found a new friend in pornstar turned singer Malena after her best friend Boogie2nite disappeared of the face of the earth.

The albums lead single Revenge (In Style Now) was dedicated to Larynx Trasher after he accused her of molesting his son, and Alicia had planned some revenge of her own.

The album and single were both cancelled in March 2006 after Alicia was sent to prison, charged guilty with the murder of her ex-husband.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Marriage[edit | edit source]

Alicia was happily married to Larynx Trasher for just over a year. In November 2004 they filed for divorce due to excessive arguments.

Larynx later accused Alicia of molesting his son Jordan. Alicia denied this, and nothing came of it due to lack of evidence.

The pair were married on Boxing Day 2003.

Murder[edit | edit source]

Alicia was charged with the murder of her ex-husband Larynx Trasher on 3rd March 2006.

Alicia turned up to court with her label boss Malena, and pleaded guilty. She received a life sentence, and has not been seen since. She has never had a visitor in prison after her family disowned her following her confession.

Disputes[edit | edit source]

Alicia always had someone to argue with. After she turned the whole of Uraps against her in the early part of her career, she made a vicious enemy in rockstar Buffi. Buffi took an instant dislike to Alicia because they were pitted against each other on the day of Alicia's first single release. Buffi's single 18 Wheeler beat her to #1, however there was always hostility between the two.

In March 2003, Alicia was the victim of many members of the community bullying her, and a huge publicity stunt stated Alicia had died whilst shooting her video for Stroke. Alicia wasn't dead, but seriously injured. Fortunatly she was fine and recovered to get her single to #9.

Alicia also had an enemy in Hailey Klass after the pair worked on I Wanna Fuck with Katrin Holmund. Alicia and Katrin spent no time promoting, leaving Hailey to do all the work. The single reached #6, and Hailey blamed the pair for its poor charting, and snide remarks were made whenver they made contact.
