Tentrita Trinity Trina Troll (Born 4 May, 1990), better known as MC Tenty or simply Tentrita, is a rapper, singer-songwriter and producer from Runcorn, Cheshire. Tentrita first found fame as a member of Gingers+Jesus, releasing her first single as a member of the group in 2009. As of 2011, she is the only remaining original member of the novelty-pop band. They have released two albums and are currently working on a third.

As a solo artist, Tentrita has featured on singles by Claire-not-from-Twist, Wolf Wolfe, Dakota Rain, Fat Lady and Sisters Against Sisters Against Shitty Singers. In 2011 she confirmed she had begun working on a solo album. She is the first and only British female to be included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Tentrita was born May 4, 1990 under a bridge in Runcorn, Cheshire. Her mother, of troll descent, claims not to know the identity of Tentrita's father. She spent the rest of her childhood living under the same bridge with her large family, consisting of many siblings, half-siblings and cousins. All of which have named starting with T, except her gay younger brother John-Troll Troll. One of her cousins, Tricity Tiara, has a long running feud with Tentrita.

Music Career[edit | edit source]

Discovery[edit | edit source]

Tentrita's interest in music began early in life as a huge fan of garage music and drum and bass during her teenage years. She took part in many talent competitions. At one contest, Tentrita was spotted by Jesus, who was searching for members to be in a girlband. She agreed to join the project as their spunky urban sound appealed to her, but she was not allowed to rap, as that was Jesus' job, instead she became a vocalist for the group.

2009-2010: Ghetto Cornetto[edit | edit source]

In May 2009 Gingers+Jesus debuted their first single Foo Foo, the single was a critical and commercial failure and problems within the band led to Jesus and a few other members leaving. With no rapper, Tentrita took it upon herself to take Jesus' place as the group's rapper, taking on the name MC Tenty.
In fighting within the band would continue as numerous members joined and left the band, eventually Tentrita would become the sole remaining original member of the group when Just Ginger was kicked out of the band. Tentrita became the face of the band, and they achieved their highest charting single in the form of Sunday Roast, a duet with Edna Albaquerque.
It was around this time Tentrita would first collaborate with other artists, following the success of Sunday Roast, Tentrita appeared on Boris' tribute album to Alicia Jones and featured on a single with various artists to promote the album. She also appeared on b-sides for Sexy Star and Vanessa Flowers, and in Butterscotch's E-Famous video.

2010-2011: DNC and Collaborations[edit | edit source]

In september 2010 Gingers+Jesus returned with their second album DNC and their new single Period Drama (Paint the Town Red), the album was mostly written and produced by Tentrita with help from Spazzy Crow, the group's main outside producer. She also got her first taste of solo success when she featured on Wolf Wolfe's top 20 hit Americana Boy and duetted with Dakota Rain on Moai which charted at #8. That same month Tentrita was confirmed to appear on Sarah Lawler's follow up to non-charting single Radio, the track Wannabe On Top also failed to chart, but this did not put a dampener on her solo career as she appeared on ...Fat Lady Sings' single Bed Rock, as well as Storm the Castle, an anti-SASS EP with Bichastasia, Putanovska and Wolf Wolfe.
In late 2010 Gingers+Jesus revealed plans to re-release Wannabe On Top, penned by Tentrita as a single from their re-release, DNDNC. Shortly after inviting a new member to join the group, the four remaining members of Gingers+Jesus were slaughtered live on stage at a New Year's Eve show. The single would go #1 shortly after Tentrita and her bandmate's passing.
Months later, as Tyler Taylor prepared to release a single in tribute to her deceased bandmates, they were resurrected by Venus Vegas and Dakota Rain. After her resurrection, Tentrita confirmed she was working on a solo album. In June 2011, Tentrita released her first solo track, a remix of "Red Light Girls" for the Prime Cut soundtrack.

2011-2012: Solo album[edit | edit source]

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

In early 2010 Gingers+Jesus were targetted by SASS, with Danelle Becker and Violetta DiNozzo in particular taking a dislike to Tentrita. Tentrita was reportedly devestated by jibes about her appearance by the pair and she has accused Violetta of racism on many occasions, the feud worsened when Tentrita made friends with their nemesis Alicia Jones, which culminated in Danelle shaving Tentrita's head. Since then Tentrita has relied on weaves to cover her formerly luscious locks. She seems to have cooled on Danelle Becker since, though still has a rampant hatred for Violetta.

Tentrita has been romantically linked to folk singer Wolf Wolfe, even being accused by the singer's now ex-wife of breaking up their marriage. Tentrita fell pregnant with the singer's child in 2010, however the child was miscarried when Tentrita was killed. Upon being brought back to life, Tentrita ended her on and off relationship with Wolf.
