Brand New Blindfold is the fourth studio album by alternative pop duo Indigo Peak.
Background[edit | edit source]
Following the massive success of Indigo Peak's third LP 'Long Live', the duo began writing and recording for their fourth LP in late 2009. Early sessions proved fruitless and as revealed by Andre Cassenove in a 2020 Music Week interview, the pair revisited old demos of unused tracks. The final product would see just three new recordings, with the other seven tracks comprised of remastered versions of songs the duo had previously abandoned. Whilst the single 'Manhunt' received favourable reviews, the album as a whole was critically maligned managing a peak of number six on the official UK album chart. Following this disappointing performance, Indigo Peak abandoned the project and parted ways with Ensemble Entertainment.

In contrast, Heat Magazine reviewed the LP as "perfect for those Lambrini girls that just want to go off!."
