  • In 2003, Lucreacia scored no less than seven #1 singles - the first being "Where The Wild Roses Grow" with Tom Owen in March, and the seventh being "Christmas" in December. Three of her seven #1 singles were duets; in addition to aforementioned, she also topped the chart with "Slut Trash Woman/I Want That Man" with Buffi as well as "Hoochified Disco Ball" with Miss Drips.
  • Jack Stevens matched this feat in 2008, beginning with "Reverend Stevens" in February and ending with "The Wolves" in December.
  • 2009 saw Indigo Peak also match this starting with their number one "Kissing A Cobra" and ending with the Christmas number one "Fire! Scream!"/"Pornographic."

First to enter at number one[edit | edit source]

  • The first group to have a #1 hit single on Urapopstar were girl band Sparez who entered at the top on March 4th, 2001 with their first single "Never Get (What You Always Want)".
  • The first solo chart-topper came a week later - dance artist Nikita debuted at #1 with "Wishing You Weren't Here".

  • "Blown Over" by ex.one featuring Ryan Simmonds entered at #2 on February 3rd, 2002 - but the following week it climbed to #1 and became the 2nd biggest single of the year.
  • Ryan Simmonds debuted at #1 with "Can You See Where I'm Coming From" on August 5th, 2001 and fell to #5 the following week. But then on August 19th, it climbed back up to regain a second week at the top.
  • Esmeralda Dimuzio's first three #1 singles climbed to the number-one position after debuting lower than #1.
  • Jack Stevens was the first to climb to #1 after debuting on downloads only with his single "Sexxxy Robots/Dodging Bullets".

  • Emblaze went straight to #1 with their single "Easy Target" and spent four consecutive weeks there in August 2006.
  • The record was tied by Jake and Yannik's "Partners In Crime/Not Tonight Santa" in January 2009.
  • Syd Wolfe and Aurora Reed spent four non-consecutive weeks at #1 between December 2014 and January 2015.
  • Rock band Androgyny went straight to #1 with their second single "Roadkill" and spent three consecutive weeks there in the months of June and July in 2004.
  • Emblaze's final single "Bit Of Rough" also spent three weeks at #1.

Gasp became the first act to have a second number one when their follow-up single "Too Much Is On Your Mind" hit #1 on May 13th, 2001. Ryan Simmonds did the same thing on August 5th with "Can You See Where I'm Coming From".

  • Tamika first charted in August 2002, with the top 5 hit "A Long Walk". She didn't hit the top five again until April 2011, 8 years and 8 months later, with her collaboration with Cassie Diamond, Hai Maintenance Woman.

Longest gap between top ten hits[edit | edit source]

  • Tamika made the top 10 in July 2004 with her 30-second hit "Introlube (Mmm Mmm)", but didn't get another top 10 until October 2010 with "Searching Hai And Low/Interlube (Aah, Aah)".
  • Emma Latham hit the top 10 in November 2006 with Give It Up; six years later, she returned to the top 10 with Think Like A Man.
  • Hailey Klass made the top 10 in October 2004 with SYNTH, but did not get another top 10 hit until January 2010, five years and three months later, with God Bless Disco.
  • Meli H K Cat, under her birth name of Meli Kleindienst, hit the top 10 in May 2006 with The Show Must Go On. Five years later, in May 2011, she hit the top 10 again with Milo Drowned Like Vodka.

  • Kym Richardson charted seven times from 2002 to 2004, ending with "Music Of Life" in April 2004. Almost eight full years later, she returned with her collaboration with Babycakes, "You Can't Help Yourself (Babycakes, Kymmy-poo)", in March 2012.
  • Tamika charted several times between 2002 and 2004, but returned in 2010 - nearly six years after her previous hit - with "Brand New Hai Heels".
  • Edna Albaquerque charted several times in 2003 and 2004, with the streak ending in November 2004... after several DNC singles, she finally returned to the top 40 in July 2009 with "I'd Rather Believe In You".
  • 2gether charted in 2004 with their single "Too Much (Too Soon)", one of three singles released by the band that year and the only one to reach the top 40. But it wasn't until March 2009 - four years and six months later - when they charted again with their collaboration with China, "Bubble Pop Electric".
  • Paul released a string of singles to varying degrees of success between 2002 and 2010. Four and a half years after missing the charts with "Animal Instinct", he released the #2 single "Noir". It had been six years and two months since he'd actually charted (with "Webcam" featuring Miss Drips).
  • Brooke released four top 40 singles in 2004, but didn't chart again until April 2009 with her sixth single, "ONE NIGHT ONLY".
  • Selan waited four years from February 2008 until she returned with "Lips On Leather" four years later, in February 2012.
  • DJ Double Garage charted with eight singles in 2004 and 2005, but did not chart again until September 2009, three years and ten months later with his comeback single "Blood Shot".
  • Vernie (as Vernie Bennett) charted in January 2003 with her second single, but it wasn't until June 2006, three years and five months later, when she'd chart again with "Guess What".
  • Riley Hart released six singles between 2004 and 2005, but never charted again until February 2009, three years and five months later, with her fifth top 10 hit "My Boyfriend Is A Psychopath".
  • Ana Simpson had four top 20 hits in 2005 and 2006, but waited three years and four months before returning with her #1 hit "Love Is A Game/Your Guardian".

  • Paul first charted in March 2002, but it would take a whopping 13 years until he topped charts with "Fingerprints" in August 2015.
  • Lady Lou first charted in April 2006, but it took her over eight years to score her first #1, when "Graveyard Shift" debuted at the top of the chart. The same week she also scored her first #1 album, also eight years after her debut album was released.
  • Kazimiera first charted in April 2005; however, it was not until May 2012, more than seven years later, when she, as a lead artist, finally reached #1 with Hey Lucy!/Never The Bride. Ironically, "Hey Lucy!" was a cover of Lindsay Belle, whose record she shattered!
  • Lindsay Belle first charted in July 2006 with her debut single, "Watch Me Go". She finally made her way to #1 with "Wonder Why" in September 2010, 16 singles and 50 months later.
  • Ana Simpson first made the top 40 in July 2005 with her debut single, "Come With Me", but didn't reach #1 for the first time until exactly four years later, with "Love Is A Game/Your Guardian".
  • Shell Ruin first made the top 40 in August 2004 as a member of Voguegirl, but it wasn't until August 2008 when "In For The Kill" became her first #1 hit... 48 months later!
  • CeCe Winston first made the top 40 in April 2001, but it took her 45 months to get her first #1 hit, "Shiny Disco Balls", in January 2005.
  • Malena first charted in January 2002, but it took her 43 months to get her first #1 hit, "Make My Flaps Slap/He Came On The Frame", in August 2005.

  • Emma Latham first charted in November 2003 with "You're Taking Forever"; exactly nine years later, in November 2012, she hit the top five for the first time with "Think Like A Man".
  • Didinanana first charted in October 2001 with "Lover", but it wasn't until seven years later when they earned their first top 5 hit with "Geisha Dreams" in November 2008.
  • DJ Double Garage first charted in February 2004 with "Haunted Mouse" but didn't reach the top five until six years later with "Wall Street Pornography", a collaboration with Sandi Cohen.
  • Ellen Fitzpatrick first charted in March 2005, but waited six years and nine months to earn her first top five with her collaboration with Just Ginger, "I Love Myself/Cranberry Sauce".
  • Kazimiera first charted in April 2005, but did not reach the top five until March 2010, with "Shut Up".
  • 2gether first charted in September 2004, but waited four years and six months to earn their first top 5 with their collaboration with China, "Bubble Pop Electric", in March 2009.

  • 2gether first charted in September 2004, but waited four years and six months to earn their first top 10 with their collaboration with China, "Bubble Pop Electric", in March 2009.
  • Ellen Fitzpatrick first charted in March 2005, but waited four years and five months to reach the top 10 for the first time with You Called The Wrong Name.
  • Vernie first charted in October 2002, but didn't make the top ten until July 2006, with her single "Can Do Better".
  • Alicia Jones first charted in February 2008, but didn't make the top ten until November 2011 with "China Face".
  • CeCe Winston is in second; she first charted in April 2001, and did not get a top ten hit until Til Death Do Us Disco, her fifteenth single, entered the top five in November 2004!
  • Shy is in third, first charting in July 2004, and not hitting the top ten until the spring of 2007.
  • Spike first charted in February 2003, and didn't get a top ten hit until "(Hooray For) Hollywood" in January 2005, while Fifth Element first charted in February 2004, and finally reached the top 10 in February 2006 with "Coffee/Go-Go Boots". Each took 102 weeks to get their first top 10.

Most successful act never to have a number one single[edit | edit source]

  • Out Boyz had released 25 singles by August 2006 but none of them ever climbed above #2.
  • Aftershock have released 22 singles as of December 2011, but has never charted higher than #2.
  • CHRIS has released 19 singles to date, but has never charted higher than #2.
  • Although Britney Aguilera has featured on "Make It Happen/Purr Baby", a #1 single with Rap, none of her 18 solo singles have hit the top.

Most successful act never to have a top ten single[edit | edit source]

  • Jaakko released 14 singles up to November 2005, of which ten made the top 40, but none of them charted higher than #11.
  • Wolf Wolfe has also had 15 top 40 hits up to April 2012 but the highest he has charted is #11, which he achieved twice in collaboration with Edna Albaquerque.

Least successful top 40 acts[edit | edit source]

  • Z, Dark Cloudz, Jersey, Alan and Stella McCartney all made the top 40 with one single each... with a single week at #40 in the chart.
  • The lowest selling artist of all time is Stephen Hack, who sold 1,002 copies of his only top 40 hit "Yellow".

Most top 5 hits[edit | edit source]

  • 48 of Alesha's 58 singles have peaked within the top 5.
  • 33 of Esmeralda Dimuzio's 39 top 40 hits have been top 5.
  • 28 of Paulo Araujo's 33 top 40 hits charted within the top 5.
  • All 26 of Jack Stevens' top 40 hits have charted within the top 5, all but three peaking at number one.

Most singles released from an album[edit | edit source]

  • Excluding greatest hits packages, DAMNED's Silent Killer, Splinter's Let's Get Drunk and Just Ginger's Not Just a Pretty Face share the record for the most tracks released, a total of 12 tracks from their albums respectively.
  • Tamika's album Love 4 Hailey has had all 11 of its tracks released at some point, including the top ten single "A Long Walk", the collaboration with One Timers and Tara Milano, "Hey DJ! (I Can't Dance)", which is on the album in an alternate version, and the shortest ever top 10 single, the 29-second "Introlube (Mmm, Mmm)".
  • Syd Wolfe released ten tracks from "Monsters" over eight singles.
  • Moodring released nine tracks from their debut album Mood Swings on eight singles.
  • Alesha released nine tracks from Alesha Is The Queen across six singles.
  • Butterscotch released eight tracks from her debut album Pakistani Fanny on nine singles (including a double A-sided reissue of the first two singles).
  • Danelle Becker released eight tracks from her debut album Danelle, Fame & Dirty Games as singles, including "Queens Of Anarchy", credited to Sisters Against Shitty Singers.
  • Geri Halliswell released eight tracks from her debut album on six singles (two of which are double A-sides) since February 2004; the album, entitled Double Trouble, however, didn't get released until March 2005!
  • Paulo Araujo released seven singles from the Jack of Clubs album, one of them featuring an 8th album track as a b-side. Three of those reached #1.
  • DAMNED released seven tracks from their third album, Kill The Lights, Where's The Noise?.
  • Emily Henning released seven tracks from Shattered Diamond on six singles, five of which charted at number-one in the Singles Chart.
  • Robin released seven tracks from Tainted Butterfly on six singles, two of which charted at #1.
  • Phoenix Rising released seven tracks from their debut album Eye Of The Beholder over six singles. An 8th album track appeared as a b-side to their debut single. Not one of the singles reached the top 5, however the album reached Diamond certification with a #4 peak.
  • Violetta DiNozzo released seven tracks from her second album, Blood Of The Sacred, Blood Of The Damned, on six singles.
  • Indigo Peak released seven tracks from Long Live across five singles, all of which charted at number one in the chart.

  • Paul first charted in May 2002 and is still charting as of April 2016 with "Coming For You".
  • Alesha first charted in September 2003 and, following a three-year hiatus, is still charting as of April 2015, with the single "Cruising".
  • The longest lasting solo male is Morris David Cat, who first charted in December 2004 and was still charting as of October 2014 - ten years later – with the Esmeralda Dimuzio duet "Risky Business". Dimuzio herself first charted in January 2004 and was still charting ten years later with that #1 hit.
  • Hailey first charted in March 2003, and was still charting nine years later in March 2012 with Love Is A Cannibal.
  • Emma Brown first charted as a member of Vulpes in March 2001, has charted solo since November 2001, and was still charting in November 2009 with "Shut Up".
  • Neyssa first charted in November 2001, and was still charting as of February 2008, with her sixteenth single "Tell No One".
  • Paulo Araujo first charted in January 2006 and as of August 2014 is still charting with his tenth #1, Fruits EP.
  • The longest lasting group is Dr. C and the Predicates, who first charted in September 2003, and were still charting as of May 2011 with "How Could I...?".
  • Didinanana first charted in October 2001, and was still charting as of December 2008 with "Too Much Christmas/Uh La La La".

  • Counting releases both as a solo artist and as a member of G-Squared, Edna Albaquerque has released a total of 18 albums; 10 solo (five of which made the top 40), six with G-Squared (two of which made the top 40), one with Project Albaquerque, one with Albaquerque, and one collaborative album with Wolf Wolfe.
  • Alesha has released twelve albums; nine studio albums (ten if you count 2010's Last Judgment), two greatest hits albums, one rarities album, one covers album and one box set. Ten of the albums have been #1.
  • Shell Ruin has released eleven albums; eight studio albums and three greatest hits compilations. All of them have charted within the Top 20.
  • Paul has released ten albums.
  • Britney Aguilera has released eight albums, all of which made the top 10.
  • CHRIS has released eight albums, four of which made the top 5.
  • Esmeralda Dimuzio has released eight albums; six studio albums, one greatest hits and one live album. Aside from the live album, all of them reached the top two.
  • DJ Double Garage has released eight albums; four studio albums and four remix albums. Aside from one remix album, all of them reached the top 20.

Youngest top 40 acts[edit | edit source]

  • Babycakes is technically the youngest act ever to chart, as her debut single "You Can't Help Youself (Babycakes, Kymmy-poo)" charted when she was just 10 months old, although she is a dog.
  • Robin's debut single "Dreamin' My Dreams" charted when she was just 12 years old, making her the youngest chart star ever at the time. She would also become the youngest artist to ever reach #1 when her collaboration with Destiny's Daughter, "The Look", reached #1 in June 2005.
  • Just Ginger began charting in 2009 when she was in her early teens. However it is uncertain just how early in her teens she was, and in fact, if she was even in her teens at all.
  • Dustin Hadley is presumed to be the youngest male act to achieve a #1 hit, with his single "Sixteen Candles" reaching the top spot when he was 16 years old.

  • In October 2011, Bella-May rebounded 26 positions from #37 to #11 with her former #1 single, "Hooker On A Church Corner".
  • In September 2008, Stacy Hart entered at #36 on downloads with "Starcrossed" and climbed 25 positions to #11 the week after. Later that month, It's Not Over Until The Fat Lady Sings entered at #38 on downloads only with their cover of Putanovska's "Bitch In Heat", also climbing 25 positions to #13 the week after.
  • Sophie Ramone somewhat surprisingly could only limp in at #38 with her single "The Gardener", featuring Kelly, in February 2005. However, after being severely overlooked in its first week, the sales picked up the following week, and the single climbed no less than 24 places to a new peak at #14!
  • If climbs from outside the top 40 are included, Duo missed the top 40 in their first week, with their only single "Every Time". The following week, it climbed 34+ places to reach #7!
  • On the album chart, Syd Wolfe climbed from #40 to #1 with her album Big Bad Wolfe on August 23, 2009.
  • On the download chart, SARA! jumped from #20 to #1 with her single "Music Everywhere" on September 2nd, 2012.

Biggest chart drop[edit | edit source]

  • In October 2014, Kidd Amaze broke the record when his debut single "Don't Test The Skillz / HeartBreak" dropped 29 places from #8 to #37.
  • In April 2009, Christine Tyler dropped 28 places from #11 to #39 with her single Revolver.
  • In July 2013, Eoin O'Neill's single "Hide The Body" dropped 27 places from #12 to #39.

  • Kandi fell from #1 to #14 with "Nothing But The Video On", following her second week at #1.
  • Luke Ramada fell from #1 to #7 with "My Friends Are My Estate" a week after its debut at #1.

  • Sophie Ramone originally debuted at #21 with her debut single "Luv Me". In her eighth week, however, she set a new peak of #18!
  • Meli Kleindienst achieved a new peak of #26 with her download-only single "Sorry Doesn't Fit My Suit" in its seventh week on the chart.

Most solo careers from one band[edit | edit source]

  • First place goes to Phoenix Rising; all five members have charted as solo acts. Four have achieved both a #1 single and #1 album as lead artists, only Alexei Monaghan has yet to release any material as a lead artist (not counting his brief stint as a teen solo act, as this was not a URAPS release).
  • London, Lianna, Lola Elle, and Cindy Star of Venom have all charted as solo artists.
  • All three members of Gasp (Jessika, Kelli and Ciara) have had top ten hits by themselves. Between them, they have amassed 26 top 40 hits.
  • D', Nadia Walker, and MC Labels (all from Mars/Venus) have charted with their own singles.
  • Paul Walters, Ryan Starrlet and Gemma of Tainted Desire have all had solo hits.
  • Kenya, Saffiyah and LaTreasa of Tiger Tiger have all released solo singles; only Kenya has scored a #1.
